Why is dancing important in your life?
Dancing is another way to express our creativity, but also a challenge to learn something new and to improve the skills we never knew we had. 🙂
When did you know you wanted more than a couple of lessons?
After our first lesson!
The most fun you’ve had at a dance lesson or event:
Probably at the Arties (so far – we expect the Second Chance Wedding Dance to top the Arties!).
What is your favorite dance and why?
Mark loves the waltz; Sue loves the Foxtrot; we both love the Tango.
Why? It’s the glamorous, smooth dancing that we admired as kids. 🙂
Who inspires you and why?
Various couples we notice in the studio whose skill is above ours right now.
Your message to others who are still thinking about taking lessons?
JUST DO IT. You’ll be shocked at how much fun it is and how it’s not intimidating at all – and you’ll find new levels of confidence and ability beyond what you anticipated were possible. 🙂
Any other fun facts or little known tidbits about who you are?
We met in the theatre (at an audition) and have kept acting going in our lives ever since. Dancing is another way to capture some of that character-play and gives us more poise and confidence on the stage, but also in day-to-day life. 🙂
