Seeing the movie Saturday Night Fever.
Dance Awards or competitions:
My wife Julia and won 12 US Championships and 3 World Mambo Championships as well as holding the Arthur Murray Title 13 times. We never lost a competition during our 12 reign. I am also a member of the International Dance Board for Arthur Murray International as well as a certified examiner.
Who is your most memorable student and why?
Laura Jeanne – She was a thoughtful, honest person who could see the good in anyone and any situation. She started working with me when I was fairly new even though she had been taking lessons for a long time. I ended up teaching her to dance for 12 years and she taught me how to be a good person for the past 30. She used dancing to come out of her shell and learned to appreciate who she was as a woman. She learned to take pride in herself; we both became better people.

Squeeze cheese and candy orange slices.
